Catherine, (also spelt Katherine), was born at Ashwelthorpe. She married Thomas Scarlott c1535 and John Walpole, Sergeant At Law, January 14, 1543. She died at Harpley, Norfolk, in 1595. Her Will was dated November 24, 1595, and proved December 8, 1595, at Norwich.

All children were fathered by John Walpole, lawyer and MP, (d 1557). Jane married Mr. Ryvett; Mary Mr. Houghton; Bridget Mr. Houghell. William died on, or about, August 5, 1587.
