Known as Sir Edmund Knyvett of Buckenham. Died Tuesday, May 1, 1551 in London.
KFN is indebted to John Reginald's research for this information.
He is believed to be the Edmund Knyvett, who delivered The Earl of Warwick's one last pardon to Ketts' rebels at Dussingdale. During his life, he was MP, JP, Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk.
Anne was the daughter of Sir John Shelton of Garrow, Norfolk. A staunch Protestant, she gave succour to many of the persecuted, during Queen Mary's reign. After finding out that, Master Tollin [Tolwyn] held protestant services for her, she was threatened by The Bishop of Norwich for her beliefs. She died peacefully in her sleep in the second year of Elizabeth's reign.
