Author of The Knyvett Letters (1640-1644) published by the Norfolk Record Society and also Constable in 1949.

He was born 1596 at Ashwellthorpe, Norfolk, England and christened June 10. Died June 30 1658 in Henham Hall, Suffolk, England and buried July 2 at Ashwellthorpe.

Katherine married Thomas, 3° B. Berners, on February 28, 1620 at St Mary Le Strand. She was the daughter of Thomas Burgh, 5th Lord of Gainsborough. She was buried May 1, 1646.
